BodyWorlds is a traveling exhibition of preserved human bodies prepared using a technique called Plastination to reveal inner anatomical structures. Developed by German scientist, Dr. Gunther von Hagens, the exhibition focuses on the body in health and sickness.
The exhibit was housed at Science World in Vancouver for six months in 2006 and again in 2010. We managed media relations for both visits, doing outreach, developing campaigns and representing the exhibit as the onsite spokesperson.
This fall, we’re back on board to manage media outreach and social media for another exhibit that takes visitors under nature’s skin at Animal Inside Out (on until March 2016).
